We hope you will find some items of interest to you here. It is our intent to communicate the ongoing changes taking place in the tax and financial arena in which we all work.

1997 brought massive changes in the tax law. Link to our tax page for an overview of the changes which effect individuals and corporations.

We intend to do basic financial planning education in each of our newsletters. It is our view that a lot of us take too much for granted in this area, and need to reeducate ourselves. Link to the financial planning area for some basic insight.

401(k) plans also play a large part of what we are and do. We take special interest in seeing that smaller clients (those having 25 or fewer employees) take advantage of the benefits available to larger organizations.

Estate planning is also an area many of us are reluctant to talk about. Time is marching by, though, and it is important that wills and trusts be updated for recent law changes.

Finally, you will note an area on our home page where you can vote for whether you're in favor of a flat tax or not. Congress is currently debating (again) the issue of revision of the Internal Revenue Service. We feel nothing will happen in this area until we, collectively, make our feelings known in Washington. To that end, we would like your opinion. Do you favor a flat tax or not? We'll tabulate the results, and forward them to our local representatives.
